South Wales Police are committed to involving the community in the policing of the Cardiff area. We believe that by improving the flow of information between the community and its police we can all make a greater impact in the prevention and detection of crime and anti social behaviour.
This site provides an invitation for you to participate in the exchange of information with South Wales Police and other community groups. You do not need to join a specific watch scheme but you may find that there are like minded residents or businesses in your area who would benefit from your support. 
This is a new initiative and we are trying to increase the number of recipients of our community messaging. The system allows an interactive link between Police, public and partner agencies. Why not join us?
If you live or work in the Cardiff area, you are invited to apply to become a registered recipient of messages of information, crime alerts or witness appeals local to the area in which you live or work.Just complete the simple online application which will be reviewed by our Administrators prior to authorising your access.

How can I apply?
If you are 16yrs or over (if under 16 please contact your local administrator) please read the South Wales Police Community Messaging terms and conditions tab and then click on the apply link located in the left column to complete and send the application form online.
